Jude Icarus brings a funky flow and unique charisma to his debut album which will send you to Cloud 9. The vision for Cloud 9 started in 2013 when Jude was 14 years-old and the release brings the completion of a manifesto from a misfit with big dreams. Jude began teaching himself music production in 9th grade, and has created a production style as large and dramatic as his personality and flows, as seen in the video for the track “Riot.”
Jude Icarus brings a fresh perspective to hip-hop by utilizing classic boom-bap styles and tailoring them to his unique character. The track “New Classics” is an ode to classic hip-hop that still maintains a vision for the future.
“Dreamchaser” is a motivational anthem featuring Jeff Turner Music and highlights the spirit of the 14-year-old who began dreaming of creating this album and years later saw it through to completion.
