Canyon makes a splash in the “Shark Tank” with his debut single featuring Raekwon. The New York emcee has recently moved to Los Angeles, and after years of hustling through sales jobs is ready to begin his music career. Canyon is off to a hot start having The Chef featured on his first track and shows no sign of slowing. In speaking on his collaboration with Rae, Canyon stated, “I reached out to Raekwon for this record because I wanted my debut to have that powerful, introspective brilliance The Chef always brings. This all is crazy full circle for me, having grown up being inspired by Wu-Tang, specifically Raekwon’s lyricism, to now having him on my first song and having his blessing, it all feels very surreal.”
