Bay Area-based pianist, emcee, and songwriter, Bennett Roth, has dropped his latest album which truly proves how much he has “Grown.” From an earlier age, Bennett was inspired by jazz-pianists such as Dave Brubeck, Thelonious Monk, McCoy Tyner, and Bill Evans. As a teenager, he began to develop a love for hip-hop, and began honing his skills as a musician and recording artist. Today, Bennett Roth is combining his talents and love for several musical genres and blending them into his own style. The album, Grown, features elements of jazz, boom-bap, R&B, and political hip-hop. This album highlights the growth of Bennett Roth as both a musician and a person.
