Together, they present “Spaven’s Arc,” an anthem advocating for authenticity, creativity, and community.
With a background in the U.K. club and hip-hop scenes, Richard Spaven offers a unique blend of modern and traditional drumming styles. Wildchild delivers his verses over Spaven’s laid-back yet resonant beats, embodying urgency and eloquence, while paying homage to influences such as MF Doom, Busta Rhymes, and J Dilla.
This track is part of Spaven’s forthcoming album, “Sole Subject,” which fuses elements of electronica, hip-hop, and jazz. It explores the intricate relationship between live drumming and electronic music.
