Sacramento, California-based hip-hop artist Mr. P Chill has released his new single, “Heavy Lyfting.” An independent hip-hop emcee and producer with over three decades of experience in recording and touring, Mr. P Chill shows no signs of slowing down, especially with the recent release of his fifteenth full-length album, The Return (July 2026).
In recent years, Mr. P Chill has taken up driving for Lyft between tour dates to earn some extra income. This experience inspired him to write “Heavy Lyfting,” an anthem for gig workers everywhere, highlighting the significance and unique nature of the daily interactions he has with his passengers.
