To follow up her debut single, “Radar,” Madjesty is a Lone Wolf. The 22 year-old artist from the U.K. is the self proclaimed queen of hip-hop to watch in 2021 and the soulful vibes infused with golden-era hip-hop style on her EP, Lone Wolf, back up that claim. The project begins with the vibey track “Take More” which provides social commentary on greed in society.
Track two on Lone Wolf is an ode to free speech proclaiming “C.I.V.” or “censorship is violence.” The third track is called “NAKED” and speaks on the evils of human nature. Both tracks feature laid back production, soulful hooks, and bars both laid down by Madjesty. The title track sums up the EP and the character Madjesty brings to the project as the “Lone Wolf.”
In the ever-evolving U.K. hip-hop scene Madjesty has set out to separate herself from the pack and remain true to her individuality as an artist. Currently closing on completing her music degree at the University of Westminster, Madjesty has made a point of studying to perfecting her craft and knowledge of the industry. Lone Wolf is now streaming on Spotify and all major platforms.
